Greetings, fellow internet dwellers! I should be sleeping, but I'm not! A shocking, rare LiveJournal event, I'm sure. Warning: this post contains completely random topic jumps. Do not read if you have poor balance.

I've been working at my summer job, which has prevented me from posting as I wanted to. I'm a canvasser for an environmental group, which is fun and sucky by turns, so I'm looking for a nice boring job at a bookstore with better hours.

I have now seen Jaws and rectified my failure as a film fan. It was lots of fun, in a gory, totally scientifically-inaccurate, awesome way. I called the way that they killed the shark very early on. The music really made some of the scenes, I have to say. Major props to John Williams. Also, Matt Hooper really, really reminds me of Hodgins on Bones.

OMG, they were saying on a Jensen Ackles forum (http://loyalfans.net/j-forum/) that someone caught him skinny dipping and saw that he wasn't circumcised. YUCK! *trying to get the image out of my head*

Most men in the world aren't circumcised - it's basically just the Americans and a few other groups that practice it.

I had a bad experience with a guy who wasn't circumcised and I hated seeing that white gunk after peeling his skin back. If you've never had an 'encounter' with an uncut member count yourself lucky!

This is an example of the "vivid instance". Gazillions of people have had gazillions of encounters with intact men who were perfectly clean, but they're not going to post here about it. Women have smegma too (and it smells stronger) - should they be cut too?

It seems intact men are the last minority in the US you can be as rude as you like about. But plenty of other men you admire are intact: see www.circumstitions.com/Famous5.html for starters.

I am a proud out gay male who has lived half his life in the UK and half in the US. I was cut at birth. I thank my parents for that. When I became sexually active I found that I was so olfactory that the nasty whiff of air then the foreskin was retracted was nauseating, clean or with smegma. I was so happy to get to the states and not gag from the smell of cock.

It was not just guys I slept with. it was blokes in the Gym or in the toilets too. I'm not an expert, but I know stink when I smell it and every foreskin I have ever encountered be it sexually or otherwise stank, period. At least to my nose.

thank you very much!!!!! glad not to be cut, and even more because i do shower everyday....i guess being cut in the US works as an excuse not to shower, and trust me, I live here, and that is not a common habit!Anyone will stink, if not the friggen foreskin, the rest of the body will! Thank God I am not mutilated

I am cut and hate it! Guys that make fun of uncut guys I beleive are jealous of them. What guy in his right mind wouldnt want a foreskin? They are natural and beautiful. I am considering foreskin restoration like many other unhappy sliced guys. Doing more research about it. It wont be the same but better than now. Uncut guys rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I an an uncut gay man and prefer sex with other intact men. There is a whole range of sensations not available otherwise, especially on the gentler side--nice if you don't want it to be all over if 10 min. I found the Brits, in general, to be the least careful about hygiene. All it takes is 30 sec. of gentle rubbing between thumb and forefinger, with cold water on cockhhead, frenar delta and foreskin, while keeping the foreskin drawn back by the other hand. My partner and I do it just before bedtime.

I recently got circumcised. My fiancee is Jewish and she asked me to. However it is something I have always considered. Growing up in the US as one of the only kids on my block that was "Intact" was a humiliating expeirience. Even as an adult, I was always made fun of. I can remember when we played "You show me yours, Ill show you mine" all the other boys in school would say, Whats wrong with it? It looks ugly. Then in High School we all skipped school and went to the beach. Drank beer and we all got drunk and decided to "Skinny Dipp". At first I pulled my forskin back to look like the others but it naturally came undone and i didnt notice untill one of the girls yelled out "How gross" look at his Ant Eater. I truly Love to be circumcised. Sex feels better than ever and lets be honest it is much more austheticly appealling. so unless you personaly have expeirenced being both uncircumcised and circumcised than dont comment.

Matter of opinion, of course. Personally, I feel sorry for cut men, as most of them had their genitals mutilated as a newborn without any say in the matter. The outdated and painfully unnecessary procedure should be outlawed in the States. Female babies are protected from genital mutilation. It's way past time we extend the same rights to male babies.
